Update 2010.06.18 On June 9, SARFT did announce two sets of guidelines that banned "fake participants, morally provoking hosts and hostesses, sex-implied comments." Update 2010.06.08 If You Are The One (非城勿扰), a dating program on Jiangsu TV, has produced some dodgy contestants, some of whom admitted afterward to pretending on be outrageous characters the show. Now, it is rumored that a Beijing model, Ma Nuo (马诺), who has modeled for Gome Electrical Appliances and for magazines such as Cosmopolitan, has come under fire for her remarks about only dating super rich guys. The rumor making the rounds is that SARFT has banned her appearances on future reality TV shows. Ma Nuo's famously said that she'd rather weep in a BMW than go for a ride on the back of a poor contestant's bicycle. Then － shock! horror! － it emerged yesterday that a set of her 'revealing' lingerie photos has been found! The headline precludes that the two (getting banned and the sexy photos) could be related. The proposed report is from Qingdao news net, via cqnews.com:
The most amusing part of this news report, however, is the headline, which reads: "Again Ma Nuo exposes large quantity of pictures taken in her underwear, rumored ban from SARFT" (马诺又曝海量喷血内衣照 传已遭广电总局封杀) The accompanying pictures to the article has no less than 30 pictures of Ma Nuo in underwear. Those who are familiar with online shopping for lingerie know that these are a series of photos she took for Lamiu, a Tokyo brand selling online in the mainland. The first one displayed on the Qingdao news net article is a shot of a Lamiu bra used in plunging dresses often seen on celebrities. Every subsequent photo comes from the Lamiu website, and the variations of her turning around, her back, and the different sets of underwear modeled, which can hardly be constituted as clandestine photos, are reposted on the news website. Hey, Yan Fengjiao(闫凤娇)'s photo are even sexier, as in XXX stuff... How did you miss that? that show is so riddled with scandals it's not even funny. But it's funny to watch though, even though most of it is fake.
Btw, this show along with 我们约会吧, are associated with the Australian show Taken Out, with the China region rep from FremantleMedia (producer of Taken out) appearing in the credits of both shows. While similar show in Zhejiang TV etc. are pure Shanzai.

btw, Ma Nuo has appeared 越跳越美丽 about a month ago, don't why it is refereed to in future tense here. That appearance is funny though, as it the tables has turned on her along with back stage drama that somehow "leaked" to the internet. you can see some snippets here.

Miss it? I wasn't intending to write about it in the first place. As far as I know, there is no rumored ban on Yan Fengjiao. If you searched for Ma Nuo the rumor that some people have had enough of her pops up all over the place.
I'm sorry I'm not in the knowledge about all the dating programs, when they appeared, and what backstage occurrences happened when. If you would like to enlighten us, of course, it's appreciated. But there's no need to question why a post is made when the point of the post is not to say who is posing nude when and for what, rather summarizing potential bans or changes in TV programming.
Yes, of course you can post what ever you like. it your site. But just wondering why the elephant in the room is missing while on that topic of If You Are The One (非城勿扰). As for banning of Ma Nuo is only a rumor, Yan Fengjiao is actually taken off the show and never appear again on TV, Tang Wei style. They went as far as cutting her out for the show that's already been taped. link
Almost 1/3 of the contestant on there are also taken off the show with explanation given. Causing a very chaotic two shows over the weekend. With it, rumors playing with rigging etc. So that almost everyone in China now know that "reality" TV are pretty much melodrama with low budget and high return for the television. (a sort of Joe Millionaire moment for China)
btw, the story you linked (Surviving Henan TV's dating reality show) probably is from Henan TV. It just have same sounds in Chinese. But the Jiangsu version did have two foreigner (Samuel and Alex) appear show though. It's kinda interesting and some that cute. link link

btw, the only reason I mentioned about the back stage drama is because of this in your article:
"It was also heard that the production crew of Zhejiang TV's Singing and Dancing (越跳越美丽) will pause the making of episodes that shows Ma Nuo participating. Both Ma Nuo and her assistant claim that they haven't heard about this, and that whatever comes next, they will arrange their schedules accordingly. "
That back stage things is the "official" cause of Ma Nuo's suspension from that particular show, because she stormed off stage in the middle of a recording. Now that is the usual celebrity tabloid or some sort of devious trick to ban a her from the station is of course open to question. (and this question is hot debated in Tianya a few week ago with no obvious conclusions as usual)

I'm glad that you have watched more reality shows and dating shows than me, but I think Yan Fengjiao has been covered on other English language portals (ChinaSMACK). It's not as if I'm trying to suppress the presence of other possible candidates in a post like this one. It's just that I find Ma Nuo interesting because of the fact that many of her racy photos were part of real photo-spreads for brands such as Lamiu. As for Yan Fengjiao, those were actually real photos.
If there is a reason why she is (rumored to be) banned, which some say is due to racy photos, or whatever, then this post from Qingdao News net is an interesting piece and example of how news is working around her. But thanks for letting me know what could have caused her leaving the show(s). I don't trust what's being reported all the time, though.
If I were to do a real post on TV shows, I'll take your words into account. But before then, I hope you realise that I'm not trying to make a post about Ma Nuo's scandals and not the others.
